When you start your blog
you need to extend your platform by social media. So you must precisely want to
add social media follow buttons to your blog. Writing HTML and CSS for the
icons may be slightly difficult. There are many free platforms which provide you
some extra widgets to your blog. One among them is addthis.com. Here is how to
add social media icons.
Adding
Social media share buttons
1.Go to addthis.com.
2.Login using your Email and provide the details and submit your blogs
url.
3.Click on Tools option.
4.Click on add a new tool.
5.Then go to share buttons.
6.You will get many types of designs of share button. Select any one of
them and click continue. I recommend expanding it looks decent.
7.Then choose “selected
by you” option.
It will show you few share buttons if you need additional social platforms you
can add them.
8.Then click on Activate
tool.
9.They will provide you with a code to add addthis.co to your website.
Just copy it and go to blogger>theme>edit html and tap on any area of the
html code and press ctrl+F

search box will appear and search for </body> and paste the given code just above it. You
will need to add the code only once. Just one code is enough the new gadgets
will be added to that code only. Don’t copy paste the code every time you add a
new gadget.

How to add social media follow buttons
1.In the same tools option
go to add new tool and select follow buttons.
2.Select the design of
the tool. I would recommend header.
3.You can select more
social media follow buttons. Just after selecting just add your username in each
of the sections.
4.Click on activate tool.
And you’re done.
